Lake County Board Chairman David Stolman of Buffalo Grove said that "Local business is the backbone of their economy and by encouraging local business they can keep money circulating inside the community as it boosts the local economy, and can help businesses grow, leading to more employment. As a result of this new initiative, County officials project potentially $16 million in the local economy.
