The county of Lake is coming up with a latest "buy local" program in order to support Lake County's local business, and to keep generating more money in the local economy.
The officials of Lake County were in the opinion that they have always motivated local business and this new venture is focused at encouraging local vendors to seek local business with the county. Lake County Board Chairman David Stolman of Buffalo Grove said that "Local business is the backbone of their economy and by encouraging local business they can keep money circulating inside the community as it boosts the local economy, and can help businesses grow, leading to more employment. As a result of this new initiative, County officials project potentially $16 million in the local economy.
